Carlyn Stewart is the Instructional Coordinator and an Archaeologist at Los Luceros Historic Site. She has her Bachelors in Anthropology with a focus in Archaeology from the University of Arizona and recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Public Archaeology from University of New Mexico. She has two dogs, a ferret, a cat, and some fish and enjoys hiking, reading and making earrings. With a passion for education, Carly gives virtual and in-person programs for schools, and developed lesson plans on Archaeology, Agriculture, Riparian Zones and the History of Livestock in New Mexico. She also creates take-home summer camp kits in a bag and designs activities for kids to do on-site such as a folklore garden booklet, crafts, and educational activities. She also has a passion for social media content creation and engagement.
